Darksteel Plate is somewhat cheaper and gives Narset indestructible, protecting her not only from combat damage but also from the boardwipe effects in this deck. It will create a non-legendary copy of Narset and grant it haste, meaning there will be two Narset triggers per turn, which can put the Narset player far ahead of the competition. Helm of the Host is a good start, being a bit costly but having an outstanding effect. Still, Narset will need more than hexproof, first strike and a 3/2 body to survive more than one combat step.Įquipment cards are a fine start, and a number of them were designed with Commander in mind. Narset is not as wholly dedicated to powering up one creature as Uril is in fact, the bulk of this deck's cards go toward synergizing with Narset's ability, not her offensive power. This deck is a "voltron" build, making it a cousin to Uril, the Miststalker.
